Office Assistant

Bane Nelson, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, effective communicator and team player for a Office Assistant position. The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills and customer service skills, be able to prioritize and multitask, and be able to work at a site based construction office. The Office Assistant will report to and assist our Project Manager and Superintendent in various aspects of their job.


  • Collecting, summarizing, and reporting weekly time cards
  • Entering/Processing Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Vendor Invoices
  • Processing and drafting subcontracts
  • Vendor/Subcontractor research
  • Product research and material ordering
  • Maintaining subcontractor database
  • Assist Project Manager with bid invitations, requests for information, bid submissions, etc.
  • Maintain online plan room documents during/after bids
  • Assist Project Manager with reviewing subcontractor proposals

Preferred Qualifications in the following software:

  • StarBuilder
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • MS Project
  • Quickbooks


  • 2 year Associates Degree or Certificate in relevant field AND/OR
  • 2 years relevant work experience


  • $16.75 – $19.00 / hour based on experience
  • 401k plan

Job Type: Part-time with potential for Full time

Pay: $16.75 – $19.00 per hour

Fleet Maintenance Technician

Works under direction of Fleet Manager
Able to work independently and follow instructions and tasks set by Manager
Must provide own hand tools – specialty tools provided by company

ASE Certification preferred

3+ years’ service experience preferred in the following

  • Hydraulic systems
  • Diesel engines
  • Cranes, forklifts, semi tractors and trailers
  • CDL
  • Welding
  • Air systems

Full time 40hr/week
